Happy Fall

This card is created using the Joseph's Coat technique.  On Glossy cardstock, I brayered Kaleidacolor Calypso ink.  The Hero Arts leaves were stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Black Versafine ink was brayered over the embossed image.  The leaves were buffed to reveal the Calypso ink, layered on blue Bazzill cardstock and placed on the base of the card.  The background is cardstock from Jillibean Soup stamped with the leaf stamp in the same Kaleidacolor Calypso ink.   The words are from Memory Box and were stamped with Versafine ink on Bazzil blue cardstock and punched with a Marvy oval punch.  Ribbon is from May Arts.

Snow Globe

This card began with a white oval circle stamped with green Versa Color ink.  The Rubber Soul penguin was stamped with black Versafine ink and colored with Copic markers.  The circle was sprayed with spary adhesive and covered with DeNami glitter to look like a snow globe.  The snow globe was mounted to a 4 1/4 square card from red gingham cardstock from A Muse.  The red cardstock was cut around the globe to make it look like the base of a snowglobe.  The ribbon was tied in a knot and adhered to the card base (source unknown).  The card opens on the right. 

Let It Snow

An acrylic Memory Box stamp set was used to create this card.  The snowman was stamped on white cardstock with black Versafine ink.  The hat, scarf, mittens, and sign were stamped on Magenta cardstock and cut and pieced on the snowman.  The snowman was layered onto a pink Bazzill cardstock.  The same Magenta striped cardstock was layered onto a red shimmery cardstock.  A silver Pearl Pen was used on the corner of the snowman cardstock.  A red Pearl Pen was used on the buttons.  An orange Copic marker colored the nose.

Shopping Girl

The A Muse shopping girl was stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  The image was punched with a Marvy oval scallop punch.  White Liquid Applique was added to the cuffs and trim on the coat.  The base of the card is green Bazzil cardstock.  The background paper and pink oval scallop punched with a larger Marvy oval scallop punch are from Heidi Grace Designs.  A green ribbon was added to the card (souce unknown).  Silver glitter is added to the Christmas packages.

Poinsettia

This poinsettia stamp from Impression Obsession was stamped twice on watercolor paper.  It was colored with Twinkling H2O's and cut out.  The poinsettia was layered with dimensional tape and mounted to gold cardstock.  The words from Hero Arts were stamped with green Versa Color ink.

Noel

The base of this card is Jillibean Soup cardstock.  The Great Impressions branch was stamped with green Versa Color ink.  The Hero Arts ornament was stamped in black Versafine ink on the Jillibean cardstock and a piece of red carstock.  The red ornament was cut out and pieced on the base of the card.  The Hero Arts word was also stamped with black Versafine ink.  Stickles was added to the tree branch and the top of the ornament.

Embossed Snowflakes

Various snowflakes from Technique Tuesday were embossed on silver cardstock with Versamark ink and silver embossing power from Judi Kins.  The cardstock was brayered with Skyblue Brilliance ink.  The snowflakes were buffed to remove excess ink.  The words were stamped with Versa Color royal blue ink on silver cardstock and layered on blue Bazzill cardstock.  The snowflakes were layered on silver cardstock and then blue Bazzill cardstock.  A silver ribbon was added to the card. 

Embossed Ornament

This card was made with green Bazzil cardstock and red glitter cardstock.  The ornament was created with three layers of gold Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE) on white cardstock.  After the third layer, the embossing enamel was stamped with a Holly Berry House snowflake stamp.  The words were stamped with gold ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.  The words are from Hero Arts.  Finished card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.

Christmas Gift Card


This is a 3 X 3 gift card created with red Bazzill cardstock and felt holly.  The bottom of the card is embossed with the new Cuttlebug border embossing folders.  This is just too cute!  They'll be on all of my Christmas packages. 

Christmas Stocking


This Christmas stocking was cut from Creative Imaginations felt.  Two rows of pink pom poms from Maya Arts were added to the top of the stocking.  The stocking was mounted to pink Bazzill cardstock.  The snowflake background was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder on white cardstock.  White brads were used to attach the pink cardstock to the snowflake cardstock. The base of the card is pink Bazzil cardstock.  The words were stamped on pink Bazzil cardstock in black Versafine ink.  Words are from A Muse.

Felt Flowers


This card was created for the card club.  These felt flowers were used to embellish this paper from Magenta.   The words are from The Saltbox Studio and were stamped with black Versafine ink on a strip of the Magenta paper then layered on the greed cardstock.  The base of the card is green Bazzill cardstock.

Fall Pumpkin


This card was created with Basic Gray background paper in beautiful fall colors.  An orange rectangle was cut from Bazzill cardstock and layered on the background paper.  A beige square was stamped with the pumpkin from Hero Arts and colored with Copic markers.  A strip of black felt spiderwebs was added to the orange cardstock.   The words are from Savvy and were stamped in black Versafine ink.

Friends Collage


This card was created with a digital words stamp from Hero Arts.  I may use a computer at work all day, but this was out of my comfort zone.  It took me several trys to get this image to print; and once I got it to print, I struggled to get it to print the second time.   I printed the words on white cardstock and distressed it with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink and a stipple brush.  The words are layered on pink cardstock.  The butterfly was stamped with black Versafine ink on pink cardstock.  White Inkessentials pen was used to outline the wings.  The words from Technique Tuesday were stamped with black Versafine ink on beige cardstock and layered on pink cardstock punched with a scalloped punch from Fiskar.  Gold dew drops were added to the butterly's body.  The butterly stamp is from Expressions in Ink.

Snowman


This snowman from Stampendous was stamped with Royal Blue Versacolor Ink on white cardstock.  The scarf was stamped on red cardstock, cut and colored with a blue marker.  The white and red scallops were cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities die cuts.  Each scallop on the white cardstock was punched with a hole punch.  Glitter was added to the white cardstock with a Quickie glue pen and Denami glitter.  Red brads were used for the snowman's buttons.  The base cardstock is blue gingham from A Muse.

Magenta Collage


Magenta is one of my favorite stamp lines.  This image is out of my comfort zone, but I was determined to use it.  The image was stamped in black Versafine ink.  The bird and branch were colored with Prisma pencils.  The background was stippled with Royal Blue Versa Color ink.  White Inkessentials pen was used to add some white to the bird and the floral swirls.  The base cardstock is beige and was stamped with a floral swirl stamp from Hero Arts in Polar Blue Versa Color ink.  The stamped image was layered on black and then blue cardstock.  Words are from Technique Tuesday and were stamped with the same Royal Blue Versa Color ink.

Happy Birthday, Barbara

Happy birthday to my sister, Barbara.   This is a tri-shutter card made with maroon and pink Bazzill cardstock and pattern paper from Karen Neuburger.    The words were cut from the Basic Shapes Cricut machine. 
The open view of the card shows a different pattern paper (source unknown) and a flower also cut from the Cricut.  Words are from Versus and were stamped with magenta Versa Color ink. 

Halloween Pumpkin Patch


This is a cute halloween card for any little gobblins on your list.  The paper is from Creative Imaginisce.  There are several cute images on this paper layed out in rows.  The base of the card is black Bazzill cardstock with a layer of orange Bazzill cardstock.  The black web ribbon is from Maya Arts.  The words are cut from Sizzix Lollipop letters on grungeboard, colored with orange Versa Color ink and embossed with Ranger Polysparkle embossing powder.

Halloween

This 4 X 4 card was made with Halloween paper from Imaginisce.  The base of the card is orange Bazzill cardstock with a layer of black Bazzill cardstock.  The words were cut with Sizzix lollipop letters on Grungeboard.  They were colored with orange Versa Color ink and embossed with Range Polysparkle embossing powder.

Chipboard Bird

I created this card with a chipboard bird from Creative Imaginations.  It was covered with paper from Crate Paper (one of my favorite paper lines).  A black pearl from Kaiser Pearls was used for the eye.  The flower medalion was made with paper from Collage Press.  The base of the card is green Memory Box cardstock stamped with lime Versa Color ink with a flourish stamp from Technique Tuesday.  The words are from Inkadinkado and were stamped with magenta Versa Color ink.  A white Inkessentials pen embellishes the words.

Floral Flourish

Here is another chipboard card.  The flower was painted with Pearl Magenta Lumiere acrylic paint.  The swirl was painted with Pearl Blue Lumiere acrylic paint diluted with water.  The base of the card is pink Memory Box cardstock.  The pattern paper is from Melissa Frances.  The flower was embellished with a white Inkessentials pen.  The swirl was stamped with white Versa Color ink and a swirl stamp from Technique Tuesday.  A button was added to the flower.

Lady Bug 3-D Card

This is a cute 3-D lady bug card made with 3 scallop circles folded in half and glued together to make the body.  The head is circle punch and the antenna are drawn with a fine line maker with two smaller circles.  The base of the card is red Bazzill cardstock with a layer of black and then white cardstock.  The words are from Memory Box and are stamped in black Versafine ink.   The black dots were created by punching small dots with a Marvy punch.  This was tedious but worth the work. 

Penguin Chef

Ready for another cook out!  This Memory Box penguin and grill were stamped with black Versafine ink and cut out.  They were also stamped on the patter paper from Crate paper and  pieced over the stamped image.  The sun was stamped in yellow Versa Color ink and punched out.  The words are from Hero Arts and were stamped with black Versafine ink on light brown cardstock.  The base of the card is brown cardstock from A Muse.   My father and sister Bev are the official cookout cooks in my family.  They both deserve an award for all of the cookouts this summer!  We officially closed out the summer cookouts yesterday with usual cast of characters and a few rounds of Hi-Lo-Jack!

Birthday Card

This is a busy card.  I sent this to my nephew, William, for his 14th birthday.  William came to visit this summer from Colorado; his first trip to Rhode Island, I hope he enjoyed it and will send his sister, Stacy next.  The base of the card is green cardstock.  The happy birthday background was run through the Cuttlebug and sanded to reveal the words on the lighter side of the Core' dinations cardstock.  The main image is from Impressive Obsessions; it was stamped with Pallet Noir Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The layer of green cardstock was stamped with green Versa  Color ink and palm leaves from Impressive Obsessions.

Golf Cart

This is my first golf themed card.  I have several golfers in my family so this will come in handy.  When I saw this plaid paper from Graphics 45, I had to use it.   The golf cart is from A Muse.  It was stamped on red, white and beige cardstock.  The red awning and golf  bag were cut and pieced onto the beige cardstock, the white base of the golf cart was cut and layered on the beige cardstock.  The red scalloped layer was cut with the Spellbinders die cut.  The base of the card is red.  The red and black cardstock strip were layered and run through a crimper.  The words are from A muse.  All stamping was done with black Versafine ink.  For a change I decorated the inside of the card with a similar pattern.  The picture is below.  The words are from Verses.  Keeping in mind the golf theme, the words inside could say "just swinging by to say hi!"  What do you think?
 

Christmas Shutter Card

This was my first attempt at a shutter card and creating a flower medalion from cardstock.  The flower medalion was made by scoring a 1 1/2 inch by 12 inch strip of cardstock every 1/2 inch.  Next, accordian fold the strip and glue the two sides together. Press the accordian circle flat by loosly gathering the folds on the top and pushing down.  The base of the card is red Bazzill cardstock.  It was layered with decorative paper from DeNami.  Below is the open view.  The ornaments were stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder.  The holly leaves are from My Sentiments Exaclty and were stamped with green Versa Color ink; the red berries were colored with red Stickles.  The tree is from  My Sentiments Exactly and is stamped with green Versa Color ink.  The words are from A Muse and are stamped in red Versa Color ink.  A white button and green sheer ribbon were added to the flower medalion.  The open view is below.

Surfin Santa

This was a fun card to make.  The Surfin Santa stamp is from A Muse.  Santa was stamped on white cardstock cut with a Marvy scallop punch.  Santa was colored with Marvy markers.  The beard and white parts of the hat were covered with white Liquid Pearls.  The waves were stamped with Mountain BlueVersa Color Ink (second generation stamping) and were covered with Stickles.  This was layered on red cardstock punched with a scallop Marvy punch.  The waves on the blue gingham A Muse paper were created with Stickles.  Words are from A Muse and were stamped in the same Mountain Blue ink.

Season's Greetings

This card was made with red Memory Box cardstock for the base.  The pattern paper is from Creative Imaginations.  Green Bazzill cardstock was cut with the spellbinders scallop die cut.  The stamps are from Salt Box Studio and are stamped in green Versa Color ink.  The bow was colored with red Souffle pen.  Red gems from Memory Box were added to the wreath.

Holiday Wishes

This card started with a blue cardstock from Memory Box.  The card was folded with the blue on the inside and white on the outside.  A scallop was cut to create the look of a mountain on the front of the card.  The snowman was stamped on the lower part of the mountain and again on white cardstock.  The snowman was cut and placed on the mountain with dimensional tape.  The blue ribbon was used for a scarf.  The nose was colored with orange Marvy marker.  The inside of the card was stamped with multiple tree images from Rubber Soul and brown Versafine ink.  The stamps are from My Sentiments Exactly.  The ribbon is from Daisy Bucket.  Stickles was added to the snowman and trees.  The ribbon for the scarf was torn to create a look of fringe on the scarf.  This detail is not clear in the photo.

Santa

This card was made with the Spellbinders Label 3 dies.  The santa was stamped on red, white, and black paper.  The black and white images were cut and pieced onto the red image.  the black boots were covered with Glossy Accents.  White Liquid Applique was used on the hat.  The background Christmas paper is from American Traditional Designs Holiday Cheer collection.  The red and green cardstock are from Memory Box.   A white ribbon was added between layers of the designer paper and red cardstock.  The santa stamp is from Holly Berry House; the words are from Rubber Soul.  All stamping was done with black Versafine Ink.  The center of this card would make a nice tag for kids Christmas packages.

Merry Christmas

The background of this card was made with white glossy cardstock and gold webbing spray from Krylon.  The gold webbing spray dries very quickly.  It was cut and layered on red shimmery paper.  The words were stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder and layered on the red shimmery paper.  A gold sheer ribbon was added.  Words are from My Sentiments Exactly.

Meow

Here is another card with the same Outlines Rubber Stamp. The image was stamped and embossed on white and two shades of blue. The two shades of blue were cut and layered with the white cardstock. The mice, words, and foot prints were colored with Marvy markers. The cat was colored with Copic markers. A white Inkessentials pen was used on the flower petals.

Hello Kitty

Outlines Rubber Stamp was used for this card. It was stamped on white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and layered on black, pink and green cardstock. Gold Stickes was used to cover the collar; Lemon Yellow Liquid Pearls was used for the center of the flowers. This would make a nice note card or get well card for a cat lover.

Baby Girl

Cardstock from A Muse and stamps from Outlines Rubber Stamps were used for this card. The image was stamped on pink and white cardstock. The white cardstock was colored with Copic markers and covered with Glossy Accents. The bib was layered with dimensional tape on the pink cardstock. A white grosgrain ribbon was added to the card.

Baby Boy


This card is made with A Muse cardstock and Outlines Rubber Stamps. The image was stamped on blue and white cardstock with black Versafine ink. The feet on the white cardstock were colored with Copic markers, cut out and layered on the blue cardstock. A white Inkessentials pen was used on the blue cardstock. Two pieces of ribbon were knoted together and glued to the cardstock with glue dots.

Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

The Memory Box background paper for this card was cut and layered onto black Bazzil cardstock. The tree was stamped with black Memories ink and colored with watercolor pencils. The white and black cardstock was cut with Spellbinders Labels Three dies and layered onto the Memory Box paper. Words are from A Muse and were stamped with black Versafine ink. Silver Stickles line the cloud.

Just a Little Note

This card was made with double sided cardstock from Crate Paper. The solid orange was used for the base of the card. White cardstock was layered on the orange cardstock. The bird was stamped with black Versafine ink on the white cardstock. Three layers for the bird were created by stamping the bird three times on the decorative paper, twice on the decorative side and once on the solid side. The bird was cut out of the decorative paper and layered onto the white cardstock. The breast of the bird was cut from the solid side of the cardstock. The wing of the bird was cut from another piece of decorative cardstock and layered on the breast with dimensional tape. The decorative side of the carstock was used to create a strip on the left side of the card. Words and musical note are stamped in Versa Color topaz ink. All stamps are from Memory Box.



Friends and Caffeine

This Hero Arts stamps was stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on brown and pink cardstock. Using the brown cardstock as the base of the card, various sizes of the pink embossed cardstock and beige cardstock were punched out with Marvy punches and layered on the brown cardstock. Words are from JustRite Stamps and are stamped in black Versafine ink. Pink Dew Drops embellish the card.

Embossed Metal

This card was made with Adirondack alcohol inks applied to Ten Second Studio metal. The metal was run through the Cuttlebug with a Ten Second Studio embossing block. The metal was cut to size and layered on teal cardstock then black cardstock. The words are from Technique Tuesday and are stamped in silver Color Box ink.

Penny Black

This card was made with Adirondack alcohol inks applied to glossy cardstock. The image was stamped twice with black Stazon ink. The glossy cardstock was cut into three equal pieces and layered onto black cardstock. The brads were colored with silver Adirondack ink.

Friends and Coffee

The background of this card was made with Adirondack alcohol inks applied to glossy cardstock. The scallop circles were made with the Spellbinders dies using black and kraft cardstock. Coffee beans were stamped with black Stazon Ink. Words were stamped with Versafine black ink. All stamps are from JustRite Stamps. Ribbon is from May Arts.

Happy First Birthday Amarii

For my niece's first birthday, I wanted to make a personalized card. I used the JustRite 15 point words on the 2 inch block with a floral border. The background paper is from Daisy Bucket. I used the Spellbinders scallop circles to layer with pink and green Memory Box cardstock. The center flower is from the same Daisy Bucket paper. A green Dew Drop was used in the center of the flower. A white Inkessentials pen was used on the pink and green scallop circles. The ink is Versa Color Orchid.

Happy Birthday Melissa

Happy birthday to Melissa who is taking good care of my son. This card was made with double sided Spring Tapestry paper from Magenta. The flower stamp from Hero Arts was stamped with Palette Noir Black ink and colored with Copic markers. The card is embellished with flowers from Prima and a pearl from Stampin Up. Birthday wishes is stamped in Versafine black ink and is from My Sentiments Exactly. Thanks Melissa for everything!

Get Well Quilt


This card was made with the Guidelines stamp set from Papertrey Ink. The small quilt squares were stamped on white cardstock with blue ink and on blue cardstock with white ink. The squares were punched with a 3/4 inch punch and placed on a layer of yellow cardstock and then layered on blue cardstock. Larger layers of yellow and blue cardstock were added making the card 4.25 square. The words are from the Quilter's Sampler stamp set. A gold cord was used to attach the words to look like a French knot.




Graduation

Yesterday I purchased the JustRite 2 inch block with the 15 point alphabet. I couldn't wait to try it out. Here is a graduation card using the school colors and the JustRite alphabet. The numbers are also from JustRite. The green and yellow cardstock is from Bazzill; the ink is VersaColor Green Tea. The scallop circles are from Spellbinders.

Flower Pot

This card was made in the shape of a flower pot with the brown Core' dinations cardstock. The cardstock was sanded to give it more texture. The flowers were made with the Spellbinders Peony Nestabilities set. The pink cardstock is from Memory Box, the pattern paper is from A Muse, the green leaves are an embossed Bazzill cardstock. Fushia Flower Soft is in the center of each flower. The flowers can be pulled out to show a message. The ribbon is from May Arts. The words are from My Sentiments Exactly and were stamped with black Versafine ink.

50th Birthday

This card was made with the Black Magic paper from Core' dinations. The Black Magic paper was run through the Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday embossing folder. The Black Magic embossed paper was sanded with a sanding block. White and black sheer ribbon was attached to the side of the card. Spellbinders Nestabilities scallop circles were used to cut three layers in white and black. The birthday words from DeNami and the numbers from JustRite Stamps were stamped in black Versafine ink on the smaller scallop. A piece of black cardstock was placed across the center of the card. The scallop layers were placed on the card. A bow was tied on the left side with black and white sheer ribbon.
