Ordination
I used this card for a young man recently ordained in the Catholic Church. Although it is a flower stamp, it looks like a stained glass window with a little scroll work at the bottom of the image. Alcohol ink was used on white glossy cardstock. The stamped image from Magenta was stamped with Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The image was layered on black Bazzil cardstock and copper cardstock. The base of the card is gold shimmery cardstock. The words from Technique Tuesday were stamped with black Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. A gold cord was added to the card to secure the note paper inside the card.
Inspire
I love the look of cards with alcohol inks. They always look different and there is always a wow effect. This card was created using Adirondack alcohol inks on glossy cardstock. The butterfly and words stamp from Hero Arts was stamped with black Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The image was layered on black Bazzill cardstock and a silver shimmery cardstock.

Monoprint with Alcohol Ink
Alcohol ink was used for this monoprinting technique. Cranberry, Stream, Wild Plum and Silver Adirondack alcohol ink were placed on a craft sheet. A piece of glossy cardstock was twisted through the Adirondack inks and set aside to dry completely. The background is a shimmery paper that was stamped with Versamark ink and a Hero Arts swirl stamp. The words were stamped on the monoprint paper with black Stazon ink and layered with black cardstock. A Magenta peel off was placed over a piece of the monoprint paper and layered on a piece of black cardstock.Sunday, April 26, 2009
Triangle Shaker Card

This triangle shaker card is made with glossy cardstock cut to a triangle from a 5 X 5 square. A triangle window was cut from the inside of the triangle. Adirondack alcohol ink in shades of orange, yellow, and red were applied to the triangle shape. Stazon black ink was used to stamp the design on the triangle. The swirl words were stamped on a gold shimmery paper. The shaker was created be adding foam to the inside triangle boarder. Roxs from JudiKins were added and an acetate sheet was glued between the foam and triangle shape. A triangle card was made by cutting black cardstock to the same size as the alcohol inked triangle. Stamps were from Technique Tuesday. This card will fit in a 6 x 6 square envelope.
