La-di-da

When I saw this La-di-da stamp from Cat's Life I had to use it.  The words were stamped with black Versafine ink and layered on brown cardstock.  The ribbon from May Arts was gathered with a running stitch and glued to the back of the brown cardstock.  The base of the card is brown cardstock; the pattern paper is from Webster's Pages.  A flower was created using 8 equal layers of scallops cut with a Spellbinders die from Bazzill cardstock.  The scallops were wet, scrunched, and placed one on top of the other.  A brad through the center holds them together.  Each layer of the scallop was then folded up over the brad.  Gold pearl pen was used on the corners.  This card would be appropriate for a retirement, special occasion, or a thank you for someone that did a nice deed!

Happy Graduation, Danielle

My niece, Danielle, graduated with her Master's Degree in  early education from Johnson and Wales this week.  We are all so proud of her!  I put her gift in this cute tote.  This was a fun project I did for the Bella Card Club.  The pattern for the tote was from Creations by AR (http://cbyar.blogspot.com/).  The pattern paper is one of my favorite patterns from Robins Nest.  The navy paper was used for the handles, trim and base of the card.  A white grosgrain ribbon was added to embellish the tote.  White brads were used to attach the handles.  This is perfect for a gift card or piece of jewelry.

Grad's Cap

This card was made from the spring pop up card tutorial on the Splitcoast Stampers website.  The words are from Inkadinkado and were stamped with black Versafine ink on white cardstock and layered on the blue cardstock.  To clear gems were added.  The white brad and tassel were added to the cap.

Happy Mother's Day

This card starts with a base of green Bazzill cardstock.  The pattern cardstock is from Webster's Pages.  The lacy Hero Arts stamp was embossed with white embossing powder on the pattern cardstock.  Memories wheat ink was sponged around the edges of the lace stamped image.  The words from Stampendous were stamped with black Versafine ink.  The white ribbon was dyed with Adirondack Caramel reinker to give it an aged or antique look.  Pearls from Hero Arts were added to the card.

Flower Vase

Black and White

This card was created with several layers of black and white cardstock.  The base of the card is white.  Black linen paper, white cardstock, and the black and white pattern paper from GCD Designs were layered in that order.  The white cardstock was punched with a Martha Stewart scallop punch.  The image from Just Rite Stamps was stamped with black Versafine ink and colored with Prisma pencils.  The white scallop circle and black and white circles were cut with Spellinders dies.

Flower Pot

I made a card similar to this for Mother's Day last year.  For this card I used Core' dinations white wash paper in a pink shade for the flower pot.  The base of the pot was sanded to give it a worn look.  Fiskars decorative scissors were used to cut the scallop border.  A Cropadile punch was used to punch between each scallop.  The Saavy flowers were stamped on Memory Box paper with black Versafine ink and sponged with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid ink.  The flowers were layered with dimensional tape.  A dew drop is in the center of each flower.  The yellow seeds on the flower were colored with a Gelly Roll pen.  The leaves were traced on green vellum paper from a Magenta leaf template and cut.  The ribbon is from May Arts.  The message inside the flower pot pulls out from the top.
