Get Well Quilt

This card was made with the Guidelines stamp set from Papertrey Ink. The small quilt squares were stamped on white cardstock with blue ink and on blue cardstock with white ink. The squares were punched with a 3/4 inch punch and placed on a layer of yellow cardstock and then layered on blue cardstock. Larger layers of yellow and blue cardstock were added making the card 4.25 square. The words are from the Quilter's Sampler stamp set. A gold cord was used to attach the words to look like a French knot.

Graduation

Yesterday I purchased the JustRite 2 inch block with the 15 point alphabet. I couldn't wait to try it out. Here is a graduation card using the school colors and the JustRite alphabet. The numbers are also from JustRite. The green and yellow cardstock is from Bazzill; the ink is VersaColor Green Tea. The scallop circles are from Spellbinders.

Flower Pot

This card was made in the shape of a flower pot with the brown Core' dinations cardstock. The cardstock was sanded to give it more texture. The flowers were made with the Spellbinders Peony Nestabilities set. The pink cardstock is from Memory Box, the pattern paper is from A Muse, the green leaves are an embossed Bazzill cardstock. Fushia Flower Soft is in the center of each flower. The flowers can be pulled out to show a message. The ribbon is from May Arts. The words are from My Sentiments Exactly and were stamped with black Versafine ink.

50th Birthday

This card was made with the Black Magic paper from Core' dinations. The Black Magic paper was run through the Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday embossing folder. The Black Magic embossed paper was sanded with a sanding block. White and black sheer ribbon was attached to the side of the card. Spellbinders Nestabilities scallop circles were used to cut three layers in white and black. The birthday words from DeNami and the numbers from JustRite Stamps were stamped in black Versafine ink on the smaller scallop. A piece of black cardstock was placed across the center of the card. The scallop layers were placed on the card. A bow was tied on the left side with black and white sheer ribbon.

Fun in the Sun

This card was created with layers of the new Core' dinations white wash cardstock. Four shades of the Core' dinations cardstock was torn and layered onto a piece of black cardstock. Pink thread from Bazzill crossed the card. The base of the card is white cardstock. The center was created with Spellbinders Labels Three Nestabilities set in black, pink Core' dinations and white cardstock. The stamp is from Inkadinkado and was stamped on white cardstock with Versafine black ink. The shell was stamped a second time on white shimmery paper with black Stazon ink and cut out and layered on top of the white cardstock giving it more dimension. A pink pearl was placed between the two layered shells. The words are from Memory Box and are stamped in black Versfine ink.

Monoprint with Alcohol Ink

Alcohol ink was used for this monoprinting technique. Cranberry, Stream, Wild Plum and Silver Adirondack alcohol ink were placed on a craft sheet. A piece of glossy cardstock was twisted through the Adirondack inks and set aside to dry completely. The background is a shimmery paper that was stamped with Versamark ink and a Hero Arts swirl stamp. The words were stamped on the monoprint paper with black Stazon ink and layered with black cardstock. A Magenta peel off was placed over a piece of the monoprint paper and layered on a piece of black cardstock.

Monoprint with Adirondack Ink

This card was made with a monoprinting technique and Terra Cotta Adirondack Ink. The Terra Cotta ink was spread between a report folder. Open and close the report cover a couple of times to create the texture of the monoprint. Place a piece of glossy paper between the report folder. Close and brayer to add the ink to the glossy paper. Set aside to dry completely before stamping. The words are stamped with black Stazon Ink and layered on black paper, another piece of the monoprint paper, then a second layer of back paper and a layer of bronze paper. The words are from Rubber Soul.

Monoprint with Brilliance Ink

This card was made with a monoprinting technique and Brilliance Ink. A generous layer of Victorian Violet Brilliance Ink was spread inside a vinyl report folder. After closing the report folder and brayering over the folder to spread the ink, a piece of glossy paper was placed inside the folder. Repeat brayering over the folder to apply the ink. This makes the monoprint sheet. Set aside for a short time to dry completely before stamping. I used a swirl stamp from Hero Arts with the same Victorian Violet Brilliance Ink over the monoprint glossy sheet. It was layered on a green and purple textured paper. Words were also stamped on the monoprint paper and layered on the purple textured paper. The words are also from Hero Arts. Clear Dew Drops were added to the corner; gold cord was added to the left side of the card.
