Cosmo Bella

I really like this line of Stamping Bella's. This is Cosmobella. She is stamped with black Palette ink and colored with Copic markers. The words are from Amuse and are stamped in the same ink. The card was layered on purple and black cardstock. Glossy Accents was used over the glass and a clear Spica pen was used for glitter on her shirt.

Stamping Bella Cupcake

Here is another Cuppacakeabella. The background paper is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet collection. The image was stamped with Versafine black in and colored with Twinkling H2O's. The dress was stamped on the same background paper and pieced onto the image. The image was layered on purple and pink cardstock. The flower is from Prima Flowers. The words were stamped with Versafine black ink. The words are from Amuse. A pearl was added to the center of the flower.

Cuppacakeabella

Cupcakes have been very popular this past year. This is my first cupcake. The stamp is from Stamping Bella. The image was stamped with black Versafine ink and colored with Twinkling H2O's. Glitter was added with a Quickie glue pen and DeNami glitter. Glossy Accents was added to the cherry. The embellishments are from Queen and Co. The pattern paper is from Collage Press. The words were also stamped with black Versafine ink and they are from My Sentiments Exactly.

Valentine's Card

This card was made to demonstrate another bleach technique. The card is made with pink Bazzil cardstock and regular green cardstock. The pattern paper is a Washi paper. The words are from Wordsworth and were stamped with black Versafine ink. The black peel off is from Magenta. The inside of the peel off was bleached. The Bazzil paper, I have found, bleaches well.

Birthday Quilt

I've admired handmade quilts for years and have always wanted to try quilting. This is a stamp set from Papertrey Inc. When I saw it, I had to have it. I stamped the quilt square with Versafine black ink on three shades of purple Bazzil paper. The squares were punched with a 3/4 inch punch and layered onto black cardstock. It was then layered on the two shades of purple Bazzil paper. The words are also from Papertrey Inc. I used a black Marvy marker to ink only select words on the stamp. A white Inkssentials pen was used for the center of each quilt square.

Bleached Leaves

Here is another card using bleach. This could be used as a very nontraditional Valentine's card. The leaf stamp is from Hero Arts and was stamped with bleach on the orange, green, and purple cardstock then layered on a piece of beige cardstock and brown cardstock. The buttons were created with white shrink plastic and a 3/4 inch Marvy punch. Holes in the middle of each button were punched to create button holes. The shrink plastic was stippled with Adirondack inks Terra Cotta, Oregano, and Currant. Gold cord was threaded through the button holes and tied into a knot. The buttons were applied with glue dots. The words were stamped and embossed with Versamark Ink and gold embossing powder. The inside of the card finishes the Love is words with "Love is like a tree...it puts down deep roots into our whole being." The words are from Wordsworth rubber stamps.

Pear with Alcohol Ink

I made this card for a technique class I did this weekend using bleach. The middle of the card was created with Ranger alcohol inks applied to a shimmery glossy paper. The pear was stamped and embossed with Versamark ink and black embossing powder. Bleach was brushed inside the pear image to remove the alcohol ink. A gold leaf pen was used for the border around the pear image. The background paper is from Graphic 45's Botanicabella Collection, Eden's Symphony. The card was layered on black cardstock.

Cardmap

This is another card made from a cardmap from Becky Fleck's website. The double sided paper I used is from Imaginisce, Baby Powder line. One side has the pink diamond pattern, the other side is green with white flowers. The base of the card was stamped on the pink side of the cardstock with Hero Arts Design Block Wallpaper Background in Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The green floral side of the cardstock was layered on a dark pink cardstock. The two scallop circles in the middle of the card were cut with the Spellbinders die cuts. The center circle is from a Marvy punch. Mounting tape was used between each layer of the circles. The words are from Amuse, stamped with Versa Color magenta. I used a white inkessentials pen to add the dots around the outer scallop layer.

Life is Sweet

I really like how this card came out. I followed a cardmap from Becky Fleck's website. The base of the card is a pink cardstock. The decorative paper is a double sided Crate Paper. I used the Fiskars scallop punch to create the bottom edge with the pink side of the Crate Paper. The bird is stamped with black Versafine on white cardstock and layered on a boysenberry cardstock. I stamped the bird twice on the decorate paper using the pink for the body and the decorative side for the wing. Denami glitter was added to the feathers with a Quickie glue pen. The white pearls are from Queen and Company. The bird and word stamps are from Prima. Here is Becky's website. http://www.pagemaps.com/

Slider Card

This is a slider card that was demonstrated on the Hero Arts website. I used a Graphic 45 double sided paper from the Baby 2 Bride Collection, Always On My Mind. I started with a green cardstock to create the pocket for the slider, layered the Swiss dot side of the paper cut with scallop scissors at the bottom, then a smaller green layer and the flower layer at the top. The "make a wish" stamp is from Memory Box. A satin ribbon is used to create the slider. I added a piece of the flower cardstock layered on green cardstock to cover the slider mechanism and wrapped the ribbon into the pocket to make it look continuous. The Hero Arts website is http://heroarts.com/blogs/club/page/3/

Slider Card Inside

This is the inside of the slider card. White cardstock was used cut slightly smaller than the pocket card. The corners were rounded. The ribbon wraps around the insert and allows it to easily slide in and out. The word "enjoy" was stamped on a piece of the same Swiss dot cardstock.
